I am truly excited about the prospect of teaching this new component. A collaborative project where students use their multimedia skills highlighting their achievements of the course. Students can choose to collaborate with music students or with students from other subjects. It is multidisciplinary, open to innovation and has a very realistic component. Nowadays, musicians need to display so many more skills than just playing their instruments or writing music. Musicians often need to advocate for themselves, find their niche, combine aspects of different art genres in order to be successful. The skills the students learn with this project will be useful for the student's future, independent of the chosen career, in the arts or in any other professional field.
